This quilt is slightly heavier than the summer natural quilt, but lighter than our organic summer doonas. It has a smooth look, which is a look some people prefer for their bedroom. 

Wool is breathable, so you can have a slightly heavier doona and as long as you have a natural fibre cover, your body can regulate its temperature.  

The wool in these quilts comes from New Zealand, where the high, wet terrain provides ideal grazing conditions for coarse wool sheep. This makes it perfect for doonas and upholstery wool. I personally traveled to New Zealand, visited the farms, watched the shearing process, and followed the journey from farm to manufacturing. The wool is completely chemical-free.

Wash in a gentle cold, wool wash cycle with wool detergent.
