  Too often vegetables and strawberries are grown in plastic weed matting which breaks down into microplastic and gets into our soil and water system. We have to make a stop to this! 
  

The 175 gsm seems to last 8-12months, it needs to be covered with mulch as it doesn't stop the light. It can also be used as a blanket over plants in times of frost.

The thick one, 450gsm (see video) should last 2 years, I'm still testing it. For quick weed kill, covering it with mulch seems to work faster, but if pegged down, it does work without mulch but takes longer.
